Eldorado.
The subject of this poem is the continual stride of someone to get something that they want. The man wants to find eldorado to me that means many things it could mean that he is trying to find a way to get something better than what he already has. The fact that he started speaking to his shadow or a shadow that he saw. It to me seems like he gave up all hope in search of eldorado. But that shadow gave him his strive back. I like this poem because it reminds me of myself. Becuase everyone wants to get out of the hood but its hartder then many think.

A dream within a dream.
The subject of this poem is to explain life. How he descirbed the grains of sand in his hand in his dream but then that dream was but a dream of a continuing dream. And so on and so fourth. The fact of how it makes me think about what our life is really about or is it just a place for our souls to rest in our bodies dreams. I lioked this poem for the simple fact that it reminded me of deja'vu'

The raven.
The subject of this poem is to explain ow choices affect you. The figuraive language would be how he described the bird as the devil. But he knew that it wasnst. But he constanly questioned his self about it. I like this poem becuase of its depth within its words.
